This picture
tells the story of a wedding sometime in the 1920's,. The
more you look at this picture the more the story unravels.
The vintage cars provide an extremely interesting and elegant
foreground.

The drinking fountain was melted down to help
the war effort in 1940, although the bird of prey on top of
the fountain was saved by a chap called Harvey Jones and it
is now in a museum. Many of the buildings shown have since been
demolished.

on Rememberance Day. Although in modern times, this was deliberately

grounds and water. The history of the hall vast, perhaps you
have seen the inside on the screened version of the Forsythe
Saga.
